Briefly describe the production analysis of drum gears


Commonly used drum-shaped teeth cutting methods include: using a disc-shaped gear modular milling cutter to feed along a circular arc motion path, but the actual tooth-shaped gears have different tooth profiles. Jilin University of Technology invented a special device for inserting drum-shaped teeth according to the principle of common symmetry and obtained patents, but the processed drum gears only obtained certain effects at a certain angle of intersection; due to the moment change of the shaft angle of the coupling, in other working conditions The gears cut with this device are not ideal.
In view of the shortcomings of the above-mentioned processing methods, this paper proposes a new method for processing drum-shaped teeth on the numerical control machine tool by using the forming method, which is simple and can ensure precise meshing. The inner ring gear of the coupling meshes with the imaginary involute rack, and at the same time, if the rack is shared with the drum teeth, according to the second method of OUVer, the imaginary rack is removed, and the inner ring gear and the drum shape The teeth are meshed and merged. Moreover, since the conical milling cutter is in line contact with the rack and the drum teeth are only engaged with the rack at a single position, the bevel milling cutter is used instead of the rack. In the original movement, the rack moves, and the gear is meshed while being yawed.
In the actual machining, the gear axis does not move. When the milling cutter passes the meshing, the arc is moved relative to the gear instead of the yaw of the gear; and the composite motion is also converted, that is, the tool first moves along the gear arc and then changes the gear. The corner and relative position are re-run. Machining process meshing analysis and processing of high-quality drum gears must be realized by CNC hobbing machines, which seems to have become the "conclusion" of the gear transmission industry. This paper finds a new way to process special gears and ordinary gears without special equipment and full use of the free machine of CNC machine tools. The use of gear hobbing machine or gear shaping machine needs to adjust the gear-changing wheel, which inevitably has motion error. With the CNC machine tool, any gear number can be processed by changing the program, and the expected precision can be achieved. Therefore, the method introduced in this paper has the promotion value.
