Mineral Centrifugal Sand and Gravel Slurry Dredge Pump

The AMG/AMGH series of sand and gravel mud pumps are designed with a single casing connected by clamp bands and a wide wet passage. The wet parts are made from Ni-hard and high chromium abrasion-resistant alloys.

The discharge direction of the pump can be oriented in any direction of 360 degrees.

These pumps offer advantages such as easy installation and operation, excellent NPSH performance, and strong resistance to wear and tear.

Drive types include V-belt driven, flexible coupling driven, gear box driven, hydraulic coupler driven, variable frequency driven, and thyristor speed control.

Designed for continuous handling of challenging, highly abrasive slurries that contain large solids which cannot be pumped by standard pumps, these pumps are ideal for applications in mining, explosive sludge in metal melting, dredging in rivers and ponds, and other industries. The AMGH models are known for their high head capabilities.

(1) Sand and Gravel – These pumps are designed for high head duties such as cyclone feed, long distance pipelines, and high static discharge heads. The Heavy Duty Dredge Pump is specifically designed for low head duties like hopper dredging and barge loading.

(2) Sugar Beet & Other Root Vegetables – With special impellers designed to prevent damage to solids, the Dredge Pump is widely used for handling sugar beet and other vegetable products.

(3) Slag Granulation – Low NPSH requirements and robust design make the Dredge and Gravel pumps suitable for applications involving higher than normal temperatures.

(4) Tunneling – Severe space limitations and tough operating conditions are common in tunneling applications. The Gravel Pump’s compact design and optional impact-resistant cast steel components make it ideal for varied subsoils and long tunnels requiring a pump capable of multi-stage operations under high flow, high pressure, and surging conditions.
