XCRS Wet Magnetic Separator is mainly designed for labs for metallic mineral processing. It conducts concurrent magnetic separation of fine-grain ores with strong magnetism by use of Wet Method. It is small in volume, light in weight, simple in operation and convenient in maintenance. However, it is unsuitable to be used in beneficiation tests with corrosive liquors. The product is produced by the only enterprise designated by the former Ministry of Geology and Mineral Resources, in compliance with the Industrial standards.

Drum Magnetic Separator is provided with an open magnetic system in its rotary drum to rapidly separate magnetic minerals, which will be absorbed by magnetic force on the surface of drum and threw off sludge in agitation by magnetic force before being washed out of the separator with the help of rotation of drum surface.

XCQS wet magnetic separator consists of two parts, the main body and drum power supply. The main body the magnetic separator mainly includes: (1) frame (2) magnetic drum (3) ore tank (4) spray pipe (5) transmission device (6) feed tank.
The drum power supply is a separate silicon bridge rectified power source whose output is adjusted through the handle of voltage regulator.

1. Frame: The frame is welded by angle iron. It is the supporting part of the whole machine.

2. Magnetic drum: Four excitation coils and magnetic cores are installed inside the magnetic drum. Besides, an interpole is without excitation coil is installed at the side of the magnetic drum along which the ore is discharged, to facilitate the discharging of ores. These form a sector and are fixed on the mandrel. The mandrel is fixed on the frame through bearing bushing. The drum is made of non-magnetic aluminum and stainless steel. The connection of sector coil causes the alternation of magnetic field polarity on every magnetic pole palm. The ore grains turn 180° Each time it passes one magnetic pole. Under the action of magnetic stirring, the quality of magnetic products can be improved. At one end of the mandrel is square extension structure which can be pulled by hand, to get the magnetic pole in the magnetic drum to rotate axially so that it can meet the requirements for the sorting of different ore types.

3. Transmission device: The transmission device is installed at one side of the bottom of the frame. To lower the center of gravity of the machine, the transmission part is composed of three phase alternating current motor, worm gear and worm gear box. The output of gear box is transmitted to the magnetic drum through chains, to drive the rotation of magnetic drum (the magnetic pole does not rotate with it). The magnetic drum rotates at a constant speed of 25 R/min. The direction of rotary force of the magnetic drum is consistent with the direction of ore feeding.

4. Feed Tank
The feed tank is welded by aluminum and stainless steel plate. It is fixed on the frame with screws. An overflow mouth to keep the liquid level is set at the side of feed tank along which ores are fed. Concentrate feeding mouth is set at the bottom of the concentrate discharging tank to receive ores.

5. Spray Pipe
A copper pipe with hole installed on the frame is connected to the indoor water source and is used to wash the concentrate on the magnetic drum. The spray angle can be adjusted through the rotation of spray pipe.

6. Feed Tank
The feed tank is welded by stainless steel plate which is used to ensure the homogeneity during material feeding. Laboratory Magnetic Separator
