Crash with entrapment in Hampshire, 11-2-18

Earlier today (November 2nd, 2018), we responded to a serious car accident involving a collision with a tree on Harmony Road, north of Kelley Road. The scene was quite severe, and one individual was successfully extricated by our team and immediately transported to an emergency facility in Elgin with critical injuries. Mutual aid was promptly requested from the Burlington and Pingree Grove Fire Protection Districts, as we were already managing several other calls simultaneously.
In the aftermath of the incident, I managed to capture some images at the scene. These photos give a glimpse into the intensity of the situation and the immediate response required. Larry Shapiro generously shared his photos, which really help paint the picture of what happened.
