Delfast Inc., a leading innovator in electric mobility, is proud to announce the launch of a groundbreaking electric bike developed by its R&D center located at Kyiv Polytechnic University. This new model, designed in collaboration with students from the Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Delfast engineers, represents a significant step forward in sustainable and accessible transportation.
The "universal" e-bike is engineered to cater to people of all ages and fitness levels, offering an effortless riding experience thanks to its powerful electric motor. According to Serhii Goncharov, Delfast’s Chief Engineer, the bike is ideal for daily commutes, family outings, and even small cargo deliveries. Its main goal is to meet the diverse needs of users throughout the day, whether they're pedaling manually or relying on the electric assist.
What makes this e-bike stand out is its reliability, long range, and user-friendly design. It also features advanced technology, including an intelligent all-wheel drive system that automatically adjusts torque distribution based on load, terrain, and speed. This ensures optimal performance in various conditions.
Equipped with a 48V30A battery and a 750W gear motor, the e-bike can reach speeds of up to 45 km/h (28 mph), making it a versatile option for urban riders. The project, which took around six months to complete, has sparked interest in potentially integrating the model into Delfast's production line.
As the demand for eco-friendly and efficient transport continues to grow, this innovative e-bike is set to make a meaningful impact on the market.
