Delfast R&D center based in Kyiv presents the new model of the “universal” electric bike

Delfast Inc., a leading innovator in electric mobility, is proud to announce the launch of a new "universal" e-bike developed by its R&D center based in Kyiv. This groundbreaking model was created in collaboration with students from the Electro-Mechanical Faculty at Kyiv Polytechnic University, marking a successful partnership between academic expertise and industry innovation. The development process took approximately six months, during which engineers and students worked closely to design an e-bike that caters to a wide range of users—regardless of age or physical condition. The result is a versatile and practical vehicle that combines comfort, performance, and smart technology. According to Serhii Goncharov, Delfast’s Chief Engineer, this e-bike is ideal for daily use, whether it's for commuting, family trips, or even small cargo transport. Its main goal is to provide a seamless experience, allowing riders to enjoy both pedaling and electric assistance without strain or fatigue. "The model is reliable, has an impressive range, and is designed with simplicity and accessibility in mind," Goncharov explains. "It's not just a bike—it's a smart solution for modern urban living." One of the standout features of this e-bike is its intelligent all-wheel drive system, which automatically adjusts torque distribution based on factors like load, terrain, and wheel speed. This ensures optimal performance in various conditions, making it a truly adaptive and user-friendly ride. Equipped with a 48V30A battery and a 750W gear motor, the e-bike can reach a top speed of 45 km/h (28 mph). With its advanced technology and user-centric design, the bike represents a significant step forward in sustainable transportation. Delfast is currently evaluating the possibility of incorporating this model into its production lineup, signaling a promising future for this innovative e-bike.
