Two projects of the “863” project of Daoda Heavy Industry officially started

Recently, the National “863” Program Major Science and Technology Project undertaken by Daoda Ocean Heavy Industry Co., Ltd. – Key Technology Research on Offshore Wind Farm Construction “Key Technology and Equipment Design for Offshore Wind Power Project Construction” and “Design Technology Research for Wind Turbine Foundation” The two task assignments were formally issued. It marks the new level of research work in the field of offshore wind power engineering science and technology by a number of offshore wind power production and research consortiums such as Daoda Heavy Industry and Tianjin University.
The project is a key project of the national “863” high-tech research and development plan. It is mainly aimed at the characteristics of China's offshore wind farm development, such as weak and complex foundations and extreme wind speeds. It solves the key problems of offshore wind power engineering survey, design, construction, operation and maintenance. Technical difficulties, establish offshore wind turbines and basic technical specifications and testing and certification systems to improve the construction and operation level of offshore wind power in China. The aim is to achieve high-efficiency, low-cost, large-scale offshore wind power development and construction goals through breakthroughs in technology and equipment. Develop wind power engineering special transport vessels and offshore wind power installation platforms suitable for the characteristics of China's seas, improve transportation and installation efficiency, and reduce total cost.
As the undertaker of the “863” project on the key technology research of offshore wind farm construction, Daoda Heavy Industries has achieved many achievements in the development of offshore wind farms, and successfully developed a world-leading single-tube negative pressure foundation and offshore wind turbine. The one-step installation program CBFI? invented the 7,000-ton offshore wind turbine and the basic one-step installation ship, providing the most efficient, safe and economical engineering construction plan for large-scale construction of offshore wind farms. The research of this project will further expand the research direction of offshore wind power engineering technology in China, comprehensively cover the economic and safe infrastructure under various complex marine conditions and efficient and environmentally friendly construction technology and operation equipment.
