General Recall of 1,900 Chevrolet MPVs Due to Airbag Faults

According to a report from Detroit, General Motors said it is recalling 1,900 2012 Chevrolet Express 2012 and GMC Savana. The cause of the recall is that the front airbags of these vehicles cannot be deployed in the event of a serious accident.

General Motors airbag supplier, Autolif reported to GM last month that airbags have failed. General Motors has notified all dealerships and vehicle owners that the vehicle was broken. At the moment, the failure did not cause casualties. General Motors will replace the new front airbags for these issues.

A total of 1,900 Chevrolet Express and GMC Savana were recalled, 1,798 were recalled in the United States, 37 were recalled in Canada, 62 were recalled in Mexico, and 21 were recalled in other countries. These problem vehicles were produced by General Motors from June to October this year.
