On October 11th, Shanghai Automotive Group released its production and sales bulletin in September this year. In September, the sales volume was 394,000 units, an increase of 3.4% year-on-year. The cumulative sales volume in the first three quarters totaled 3.31 million units, an increase of 11.0% year-on-year.

Among SAIC's subsidiary companies, Shanghai Volkswagen Group sold 113,138 vehicles in September. In September last year, it had 110,338 units, an increase of 2.5% year-on-year. In the first three quarters, it sold 949,212 units, compared with 859,592 units in the same period of last year, an increase of 10.43% year-on-year.

Shanghai General Motors Co., Ltd. sold 126,709 vehicles in September. In September last year, it sold 118,392 vehicles, an increase of 7.0% year-on-year. In the first three quarters, it sold 1,020,533 vehicles, compared with 927,344 vehicles in the first three quarters of last year, an increase of 10.05% year-on-year.

Shanghai Automotive Passenger Vehicles Branch sold 19,049 vehicles in September. In September last year, it sold 16,012 vehicles, an increase of 19.0% year-on-year. In the first three quarters, it sold 135,221 vehicles, compared with 120,360 vehicles in the first three quarters of last year, an increase of 12.35% year-on-year.

SAIC-GM-Wuling Automotive Co., Ltd. sold 121,088 vehicles in September. In September last year, it sold 120,216 vehicles, an increase of 0.7% year-on-year. In the first three quarters, it sold 1,080,182 vehicles, compared with 953,130 vehicles in the first three quarters of last year, an increase of 13.33% year-on-year.

Among other subsidiaries, Shanghai Automotive Commercial Vehicle Co., Ltd., Shanghai Shenwo Bus Co., Ltd. and Nanjing Iveco Automotive Co., Ltd. all achieved simultaneous growth in production and sales. Only SAIC Iveco Hongyan Commercial Vehicle Co., Ltd.'s production and sales volume fell by about half year-on-year. In the sales growth subsidiary, in addition to the Sunward bus, the increase rate reached a double-digit ratio.

The entire SAIC Group’s accurate sales in September was 393,986 units, which was a year-on-year increase of 4.6% on the basis of sales of 376,800 units in September last year; sales in the first three quarters were 3,305,338 units, compared with 2,979,049 units in the same period of last year, an increase of 10.95% year-on-year.

SAIC's September production was 391,033 units, which was a year-on-year increase of 11.1% from 351,899 units in September last year. The total production in the first three quarters was 3,290,995 units, which was a year-on-year increase of 14.01% over the 2,886,623 units sold in the previous year.
