Introduction of Process

The overall process typically involves four main steps:
Step 1: Debaling and Coarse Separation
1. Debaler: The debaler breaks down baled PET bottles into individual units, making it easier to separate unwanted materials such as glass, metals, and other contaminants.
2. Trommel: This rotating tunnel with small holes allows foreign objects like rocks, sand, and glass to fall through, while the PET bottles move forward for further processing.
3. Label Separator:Labels, papers, and plastic films are removed through friction between the screen and arms, collecting them in a designated container.
Step 2: Size Reduction and Washing
1. Wet Grinder: Bottles are cut into small pieces or flakes. Wet granulation helps prevent screen blockage during the cutting process.
2. Cold Water Washing Machine:High-speed friction washers efficiently remove hard-to-clean dirt and debris from the flakes.
3. Sink-Float Washing and Separating Tank:Materials with different densities are separated using water as a medium. The clean flakes are rinsed to achieve a neutral pH after being washed with chemicals.
4. Hot Water Washing Machine:Hot water dissolves glue and oil that are difficult to remove in cold water, enhancing the cleaning efficiency.
Step 3: Drying and Flakes Treatment
1. High-Speed Dewatering Machine: Centrifugal force removes moisture from the flakes, ensuring they meet required moisture levels.
2. Thermal Drying: A thermal dryer is added to reduce residual moisture, meeting higher quality standards.
3. Air Separation: Remaining film, dust, and paper are separated from the flakes using a zig-zag sifter.
Step 4: Waste Water Treatment
Contaminated water is collected in a pit, where large particles are removed. The cleaned water is stored in a sedimentation basin, and then pumped back into the system for reuse.
