HME side-mount pumper trucks are now in service with the Glenwood Fire Department, located in the Village of Glenwood, Illinois. This new unit features a custom HME 1871-SFO chassis designed for tight turns, making it highly maneuverable in urban environments. It’s equipped with a powerful 2000-GPM HME Hydra Technology™ pump, a 750-gallon water tank, and a corrosion-resistant pumper-style body that ensures long-lasting performance. The truck also includes smart storage solutions to keep equipment organized and easily accessible. A big congratulations goes out to the Glenwood Fire Department and their Chief, Kevin Welsh, for this impressive addition to their fleet.
